As a Business Tax Senior, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory work across a varied client portfolio and contribute to the wider growth and development of the tax team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Assisting with P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS, and EMI reporting
- Working on advisory projects including capital allowances reviews, succession planning, profit extraction strategies, and employee incentivisation
- Identifying wider tax planning opportunities and collaborating with specialists across the firm
- Building relationships with clients and managing day-to-day communications
- Supporting junior team members through coaching, review, and knowledge-sharing
- Collaborating across offices and service lines to ensure joined-up, value-driven delivery
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and excited by the opportunity to make a difference as part of a close-knit, ambitious team. You’ll ideally have:
- ACA / ACCA qualified and/or ATT or CTA qualified (or close to completion)
- Solid experience in UK corporate tax compliance
- Some experience of working on advisory or project-based assignments
- Ability to interpret financial accounts and understand broader tax implications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused mindset
- Working knowledge of Alphatax (preferred, but not essential)
- A proactive, self-managing approach with good organisational skills
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and confidence in mentoring junior staff
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
