What’s the Role About?
As a Technical Audit Senior, you will be a key member of our Audit & Accounts Quality and Technical team, ensuring our audit work is compliant with the latest regulations and best practices. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing expert technical support & advice on UK GAAP, IFRS & ISA queries.
- Supporting staff in using CaseWare (audit & accounts software) & data analytics software.
- Keeping up to date with developments in IFRS, FRS 102, UK GAAP, and ISAs, and ensuring that knowledge is shared effectively across the firm.
- Assisting in the development and delivery of technical training to audit & accounting professionals.
- Identifying and creating improvements to firm processes in audit and accounts.
- Collaborating on projects across various service lines, including ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Sustainability initiatives.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re seeking an experienced professional with a strong technical background in audit and assurance. The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualification or part qualified.
- Exceptional expertise with UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex standards and apply them practically.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively with audit teams and senior management.
- Passion for technology, audit and accounts software and ESG.
