We are currently looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our Tax team. The role is based at our Gatwick office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tax service line support, including liaising with colleagues and clients to gather tax return information, preparing tax return letters, speaking to HMRC on clients’ tax matters, assisting with iXBRL tagging of accounts and e‑filing corporation tax returns, preparing engagement letters, supporting AML procedures, writing up meeting notes, scanning and filing HMRC letters and other correspondence.
  • Offer administrative cover for the tax team during holidays and absences.
  • Provide front‑of‑house reception cover on an ad‑hoc basis, greet clients, manage site property, liaise with external contractors, sign in visitors, manage visitor badges and logbook, take and direct calls, complete administrative tasks such as filing and mail handling, support daily banking, manage car park bookings, maintain front‑door security, keep meeting rooms tidy and supplied with stationery, set up meeting facilities, assist with events, handle client correspondence, arrange catering, draft monthly bills, support the bank audit letter process, maintain the CCH database, and manage archive storage records.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or relevant workplace experience.

Previous Experience

  • Experience within a tax, accountancy, or professional services environment would be beneficial, but it is not essential. We welcome applicants with transferable administration and customer service experience who are eager to develop their career.
