We are looking for talented individuals to join our Internship programme! Suitable for students embarking on their second year of university, or final year of A‑Levels. We offer full‑time paid placements and the opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting.

What will you get out of the internship? We offer a personable, friendly and supportive environment and the chance to work alongside industry specialists as a valued member of the team. All interns have a mentor for the duration of the programme, and they will work with a wide range of clients from various industry sectors both in the office and onsite. The Internship programme equips you with hands‑on practical experience to put on your CV and could also open up the opportunity to return as a trainee once you have completed your degree.

The Internship Programme During the internship, you’ll join the Not for Profit Audit & Assurance team. At the end of the internship, there is an opportunity for you to apply for our Graduate or School Leaver Programme. If the decision is made to progress your application, you will be able to continue onto the Menzies Trainee Apprenticeship programme.

What do we look for?
- Minimum of a 2:2 predicted grade, no need to be studying for a relevant accountancy degree
- Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
- Minimum of 2 x A‑levels (A‑C) and one other A‑level or equivalent
- 5 GCSEs grades A*–C or 9–4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
- Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
- Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
- Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
- Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
