Inpost/Menzies Distribution is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Newbridge. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient handling of parcels, ensuring operational targets are met while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality. Working closely with the operational team, you will help drive performance, manage the smooth throughput of parcels, and support your team in achieving their daily objectives.

Role Details:

  • Location: Inpost / Menzies Distribution - 1 Claylands Road Newbridge EH28 8LF
  • Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday (flexibility required)
  • Hours: 22.30pm - 06.00am
  • Salary: £27,461.00 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the warehouse night team ensuring the smooth running of the operation, reporting to the Warehouse nightshift Manager.
  • Manage and monitor the throughput and productivity of the shift to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Train and develop new team members to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.
  • Support the shift manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company policies and health & safety standards.
