Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver to work out of our site in Linwood. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers. This vacancy would suit a semi-retired HGV Class 1 driver.
The Details:
- Salary: £15.67 p/h
- 25hrs per week + OT as required
- Monday - Friday / Start time - 12.00 - 17.00 (subject to change as per business requirements)
- Monthly Pay
Driver Duties:
- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
- Assisting with loading and unloading
- Occasionally self-load and pump truck work
- Straps and curtain siders
- Customer loads and contents of pallets may vary
Requirements:
- A full UK C+E licence
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No previous disqualifications
- Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
- At least 2 years' relevant driving experience
