Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced Warehouse Night Shift Manager to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Scunthorpe. You will manage & support an effective operational process, which ensures accurate integrity of customer/suppliers stock and data input, while ensuring that all operational processes and compliances are adhered to.
The Details:
- Salary: £40,458.60 Per Annum
- Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
- Start & Finish Time: 18:00 – 03:00
- Length of Shift: 9 Hours
- 45 hours per week
- Monthly Pay
Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to):
- Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures
- Management of stock control Team Leaders, Warehouse Operative and Operational Admin
- Accountable for shift operations
- Maintenance and management of WMS/TMS
- Organise training activities and/or scheduling
- Ensure all pre-requisite HACCP standards are maintained, reviewed and audited to ensure strict compliance is achieved at all times (Hygiene, knife control, allergen management, MHE, glass controls, spillage and damage controls, etc.)
- BRC awareness
- Effectively control goods in and goods out
- Quality Control
- Oversee unloading and loading of vehicles
- Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
- General housekeeping
- Promote an effective working environment building a diverse, well-balanced team.
- Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and are effective
- Work closely with the site, customer and supplier stock teams ensuring clarity and consistency
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
- Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
- Ensure that staff deal with all stock queries quickly and efficiently
- Deal with customer and supplier stock enquiries
- Ensure accurate records and complete information capture.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing suppliers.
- Plan and conduct perpetual inventory counts and stock takes.
- Prepare and submit various reports
- Communicate effectively with all departments on site
- Manage absenteeism and holiday and their cover to ensure full control of shift resource
- Manage operational costs to budget and ensure expenditure is minimised wherever possible.
