Overview
Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced Load Strapper. Your role will be to support our drivers, contractors & other departments by ensuring all vehicle loads are secure, safe & compliant with company legislation at our depot in Ellesmere Port.
The Details
- Salary: £27,040.00 Per Annum / £13.00 Per Hour
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Nights
- Hours: 22:30-06:30
- Shift Length: 8 Hours / 40 Hours Per Week
- Monthly Pay
- Parking Onsite
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
- Co-operate with management and team to ensure job is complete at end of the day
- Work to timescale and deadlines
- Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned.
- Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork.
- Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate.
- Maintain communication at all times with the Traffic Office.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures.
- Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.
- Comply with safe working practices at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer
- Rachet, strap and corner management.
- Work to health and safety, environmental and other standards as they apply to the process
