Class 1 Tanker Driver (Tramping)
Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers with Tanker experience to join our team, providing a first class service in Burton upon Trent. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited.

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Salary: £36,180.19 Per Annum (including nights out) PA
£60.30 Tanker Premium per month
Hours: 48 Hours Per Week (over 4 days)
Holiday Entitlement : 28 Days Per Annum (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
Assisting with loading and unloading
Tramping is required
Weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:
A full UK C+E licence
12 months previous class 1 driving experience
Previous bulk Tanker tipping experience using pump and/or compressor (essential)
Tanker (food grade) Experience Ideal
No more than 6 points on your licence
No previous disqualifications
Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
