Overview
Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) role at Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd, based in Wakefield. The role will manage and support an effective operational process, ensuring the accurate integrity of customer/supplier stock and data input, and ensuring that all operational processes and compliances are adhered to. The role also requires upholding all legislative and regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities
- Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
- Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
- Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
- Deliver and implement all aspects of Clients operational requirements
- Maintenance and management of WMS
- Control goods in and goods out; perform Quality Control
- Unloading and loading of vehicles
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with company H&S procedures
- Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
- Promote an effective working environment and build a diverse, well-balanced team
- Ensure environmental control measures are in place and effective
- Work closely with site, customer and supplier stock teams to ensure clarity and consistency
- Communicate effectively with all departments on site
Requirements
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- MHE – Reach / Counterbalance / PPT licenses required
- A professional manner
- Supervisor / Man Management skills; able to lead and motivate a team
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Pension Scheme
