Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Wakefield. This role will manage & support an effective operational process, which ensures accurate integrity of customer / suppliers stock and data input. Also ensuring that all operational processes and compliances are adhered to.
This role will ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are upheld and the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.

Warehouse Supervisor duties:
- Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
- Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
- Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
- Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
- Maintenance and management of WMS
- Effectively controlling goods in and goods out
- Quality Control
- Unloading and loading of vehicles
- Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures
- Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
- Promoting an effective working environment building a diverse, well- balanced team.
- Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and are effective
- Work closely with the site, customer and supplier stock teams ensuring clarity and consistency in all we do
- Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
- Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
- Communicate effectively with all departments on site
Warehouse Supervisor requirements:
- Previous Warehouse experience essential
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- MHE β Reach / Counterbalance / PPT licenses required
- A professional manner
- Supervisor / Man Management skills, and be able to lead and motivate a team.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
