Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance Licence (Days)
Menzies Distribution Solutions is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Licence to join our team in Kettering. The main purpose of this role is to accurately receive customer goods into the warehouse and to dispatch them to external parties in a timely manner. The role requires completing various warehouse tasks safely, accurately and efficiently, upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
The application will only be considered if you currently hold a Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Details
- Salary: £30,237.50, £14.45 P/H (overtime paid at time and a half)
- Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off days
- Hours: 06:00 – 18:00
- Hours per week: 42.25 hrs
- Location: Kettering
- Parking: onsite
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading trailers using counterbalance FLT/PPT
- Using internal WMS system, laptop and hand scanners
- Taking receipt of pallets from production lines and accurately scanning them into the warehouse
- Picking orders ready for dispatch
- Stock rotation and consolidation
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest standards and working directly with the customer
- Adhering to warehouse and plant health & safety rules at all times
- Implementing a "clean as you go" policy to keep the warehouse free of debris and pests
- Assisting on the loading bay as required
- Carrying out any other reasonable requests made by a supervisor or manager
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Experience operating a counterbalance FLT/PPT
- Current, accredited FLT licence (RTITB, ITSARR, AITT, etc.)
- Previous warehouse experience – ideally within the food and/or beverage industry, but not essential

- Good eye for detail
