Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Load Strapper to support our drivers, contractors and other departments by ensuring all vehicle loads are secure, safe and compliant with company legislation at our depot in Louth.
Key Details
- Salary: £33,000 per annum
- Shift pattern: Sunday – Thursday nights (19:00 – 05:00)
- Shift length: 10 hours, 50 hours per week
- Monthly pay
- Parking on site
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
- Co‑operate with management and team to ensure jobs are complete at end of day
- Work to timescales and deadlines
- Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned
- Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork
- Check returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate
- Maintain communication with the Traffic Office
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as per operating procedures
- Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users
- Comply with safe working practices at all times
- Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer
- Rachet, strap and corner management
- Work to health and safety, environmental and other standards as they apply to the process
