We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Project Coordinator who will be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the implementation of the IATA IEnvA (environmental management system) across our operations. This role requires a genuine interest in the environment and sustainability, as well as some expertise/experience of environmental regulations, environmental management, sustainability strategies, and project management. This position is a 12-Month Secondment.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain the IEnvA documentation and materials, as required.
- Support stations to implement IEnvA including assessment of environmental impacts.
- Coordinate internal and external audits with relevant teams.
- Coordinate training attendance for key stakeholders.
- Guide stations through successful certification.
- Work with teams around our global network and external stakeholders including IATA, airports and airlines.
- Ensure alignment with environmental regulations, aviation industry standards, and corporate sustainability objectives.
What we are looking for:
- Qualifications related to Environmental Management, Quality Assurance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven experience in environmental management, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices in aviation.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills including good written English.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proficiency in environmental reporting and data analysis tools.
