We are offering a Sustainability Graduate role which will give you valuable experience working in our global ESG team in a fast-paced and diverse aviation business. Supported by our Head of ESG and Sustainability Officer, you will work on complex ESG projects which will have a huge impact on the future of our business and our industry. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the culture and values of Menzies Aviation and the importance of sustainability when it comes to wider business decisions. This position will sit within our head-office ESG team based in our Edinburgh Park location. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced aviation professionals across Menzies Aviation and be assigned an experienced mentor who will guide you through your exciting journey here at Menzies Aviation.
We are looking for a recent graduate, or early career ESG professional, who wants to further their knowledge of the environmental impact of an aviation organisation and how we play our part in making our industry more sustainable. As this role will be supporting a global business, we are looking for individuals who are interested in complex environmental projects and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyse, and report data on ESG projects.
- Assist with preparation of management reports, highlighting trends and key performance indicators.
- Contribute insight and analysis on key environmental aspects, such as energy consumption, waste generation, water usage, and emissions.
- Assist in the organisation's compliance and reporting to relevant ESG frameworks.
You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What We Are Looking For
- Recent graduate, or early career ESG professional, with a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Passionate about environmental subjects and sustainability.
- Confident with good interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and analyse data.
- Keen to get involved in supporting our wider sustainability programme.
