This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated psychiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a well-supported multidisciplinary team.
You'll work on an adult acute inpatient ward, caring for working-age adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties, while benefiting from excellent consultant support, opportunities for professional development, and a positive working environment.
The Role
As the Specialty Doctor, you will play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients admitted to the adult acute ward. Working alongside an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist, you will contribute to delivering safe, evidence-based care while participating in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical reviews, and care planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality medical care for adult inpatients with acute mental health conditions.
- Participate in ward rounds.
