Mentus Recruitment are proud to be partnering with an NHS provider of Mental health services to seek a Locum Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry for an 18 bedded female acute ward.
Key Details:
- Excellent hourly rates of £110+ per hour
- Long term locum contract

- Working in an experienced medical team
The hospital has an experienced medical and multidisciplinary team that support patients with acute mental health needs.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Working in an inpatient setting.
- Offering leadership and guidance as well as being Responsible Clinician for patients
- Leading the MDT team and liaising with external professionals and ensuring quality standards for all patients
- Delivering high quality care to patients and families
- Providing care to all patients on the ward with the support of a specialty doctor and team of physical health specialists
- Attending MHA meetings and completion of MHA reports
- Working alongside a junior doctor and MDT who support the ward
Details:
- Working Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Experience in Adult Psychiatry
- Must hold Section 12 and AC status
