We are seeking a seasoned Global Enterprise Architect to lead and shape our data strategy at a global level. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other Enterprise Architects to drive value generation through data, enhance strategic planning, and engage directly with business leaders. Your expertise in enterprise logical data models (e.g., Erwin), enterprise data warehouse design, and comprehensive data management will be essential.
The Architect will work closely with business and IT leaders to develop proposals for new ways of doing business enabled by modern technology. In doing this, the Architect will need to maintain a careful balance between global vs local business unit specific requirements; the needs of different stakeholders; and balancing strategic and pragmatic needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a robust data and BI strategy aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design a unified enterprise logical data model.
- Lead the design and build of an enterprise data warehouse supporting global insights.
- Drive business engagement and champion data as a strategic asset for value generation.
- Providing architecture thought leadership to both business and technology stakeholders.
- Staying current on emerging technologies and trends and practically and pragmatically incorporate these into future architectures and roadmaps.
- Proven experience in enterprise data architecture at a global level.
- Demonstrated expertise in data modelling tools, enterprise data management, and BI strategy.
- Excellent track record of gaining senior leadership buy-in to high-impact, high-value roadmaps and business cases.
- Experience of developing and maintaining business capability models.
