M365 Product Engineer

The client\’s IT Infrastructure team is focused on simplifying how employees work, engage, and collaborate by introducing new platforms and services. This role supports the vision of creating a truly digital workplace by leveraging Microsoft 365 services to meet the needs of colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Provide Tier 3 support for M365-related incidents and service requests.
- Monitor system health, usage, and security compliance across the environment.
- Drive adoption of M365 tools and features to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Manage licensing for Microsoft platforms and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and data governance standards.
- Manage identity and access controls, MFA, and device compliance.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects focused on workplace modernisation and security.
- Leverage PowerShell and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to automate workflows and administrative tasks.
- Other duties as directed by line management.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Azure, Teams, and Intune.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and M365 security/compliance tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Broad expertise in on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and security technologies.
- Understanding of cloud governance frameworks, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven self-starter with high levels of initiative, energy, and mobility.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-focused management skills.
- Experience managing supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of working in multi-site environments.
- Experience working in ITIL environments, particularly Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
