Identity is one of the biggest business risks facing modern organisations. Our client is establishing a dedicated Identity & Access Management (IAM) function, separating identity from broader cyber delivery and elevating it to a standalone strategic programme. We are looking for an IAM Programme Lead to define, own, and deliver the organisation’s identity strategy and roadmap — from early proof of concept (POC) through to full-scale identity transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end IAM strategy and roadmap (this is a leadership role, not an architecture or operational management position).
- Lead and govern core identity domains, including:
- IGA (Identity Governance & Administration)
- JML (Joiners, Movers, Leavers)
- Password and authentication policies
- PAM (Privileged Access Management)
- Customer Identity (CIAM)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale IAM or identity transformation programmes.
- Comfortable owning strategy, roadmap, and outcomes — not a hands-on security architect or BAU delivery manager.
- Strong executive presence with experience operating at SteerCo / board-facing level.
- Deep understanding of identity as a business enabler and risk domain, not just a technical control.
