We are looking for a hands-on Halo Subject Matter Expert to sit underneath the Senior PM and do the doing. This is a technical implementation role: you will work directly with the business and either Halo or the System Integrator to configure, build and integrate the platform — translating requirements into working solutions. The focus is entirely on the tool. We need someone who lives and breathes Halo — not a process consultant, not an incident manager, but a platform builder.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary technical SME for the Halo platform throughout the implementation.
- Configure and build out the Halo environment: incident, problem, change, and configuration management modules.
- Translate business requirements directly into platform actions — own that end-to-end.
- Manage and deliver platform integrations with third-party systems.
- Work closely with Halo or the appointed System Integrator to drive delivery.
- Provide hands-on platform expertise to support testing, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Support architecture decisions where relevant — but always anchored to what the platform needs to do.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Hands-on, proven experience implementing the Halo ITSM platform.
- Fully-fledged ITSM specialist — incident, problem, change, CMDB and platform configuration.
- Ability to take requirements and build them — no interpretation layer needed.
- Experience working with or alongside a System Integrator on a platform implementation.
- Strong understanding of platform integrations and how to make them work in practice.
- Background in ServiceNow migration or cross-platform ITSM experience is a strong advantage.
DESIRABLE
- Halo certification or formal Halo training.
- Architecture awareness — able to contribute to technical design discussions.
- Experience in a large enterprise environment with complex ITSM requirements.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This is not a process design or ITIL consulting role, and it is not an incident management position. We need a platform specialist who gets into the tool, configures it, integrates it and makes it do what the business needs.
