We are seeking an experienced BI Developer to develop, enhance and maintain EMEIA's strategy implementation tracking and reporting solutions, together with selected finance reporting capabilities. Reporting to the Director & Head of Strategy Implementation of the Division, the role will be part of an international team and will translate business needs into scalable BI solutions by working closely with business stakeholders and data/source owners to identify, access and integrate the required data.

The role will collaborate with EMEIA BI Solution Architects, the EMEIA BI team and AI experts to deliver robust, governed and user-friendly reporting solutions, with an increasing focus on AI-powered insights and data-driven decision-making across EMEIA. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and associated languages such as DAX, SQL and Power Query. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and PySpark/Python would be beneficial as would experience of working with cloud-based data solutions.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Report Development: Develop and deploy Power BI reports in line with EMEIA governance and frameworks. Create specifications and design data models to support report requirements. Transform data using Fabric Notebooks, Pipelines and Power Query. Model data for efficient reports. Write DAX measures and develop calculated tables/columns.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with EMEIA BI Team and relevant stakeholders to align solution design and delivery. Respond to support issues and communicate effectively with business users. Store code and artifacts in DevOps repositories in line with agreed practices. Partner with EMEIA BI Solution Architects and AI experts to explore and deliver AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
  • Data Analysis and Integration: Connect and analyze data from various sources (Finance system, Scorecards, CRM, ERP, PIM, Data Warehouse, etc.). Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Design, build, and deploy BI and analytics solutions.
  • Quality Assurance and Documentation: Conduct testing to ensure quality and accuracy. Document and support developed solutions. Participate in peer-reviews and ensure code quality. Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Maintenance and Governance: Maintain business analytics platforms and adhere to Data Governance policies. Ensure solutions are accurate, secure, and scalable according to the EMEIA IT Guidelines. Identify and suggest improvement areas. Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Education, Work Experience and Personal Qualities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • SQL skills and experience with data warehousing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working in agile teams.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in M365 applications, such as Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
