Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Cyber Defense & Incident Response to lead and evolve our cyber security operations across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role is responsible for defining strategy, strengthening threat detection and response capabilities, and overseeing a modern, resilient security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the cyber defense and incident response strategy across enterprise systems
  • Oversee threat detection, vulnerability management, and endpoint security programs
  • Manage and optimize relationships with MSSP (Managed Security Service Providers)
  • Drive security operations across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
  • Develop and refine incident response playbooks, ensuring rapid containment and recovery
  • Evolving threat landscape and implement proactive defense measures

Key Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in cyber defense and incident response roles
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management tools
  • Experience working with or managing MSSP partnerships
  • Solid understanding of threat intelligence and detection frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
