Role Overview

As the Head of Sales, you will lead the team driving pipeline generation and net new ARR for Mention Me.

Net new ARR comes from both net new logos and existing customer expansion.

The team consists of three Account Executives and a Solution Consultant.

You will have line management responsibility for the Account Executives and the Solution Consultant.

This is a player-coach role.

Alongside the team number you will carry a personal quota on a small portfolio of named strategic accounts, running those cycles yourself from first meeting through to signature.

You will also be the sales team’s deepest expert on the Mention Me platform, able to lead a technical conversation, challenge a weak solution design and coach the team on how to position what we sell.

If you’re a leader with at least 3-4 years of proven sales management experience in B2B, ideally Martech, and enjoy the fast paced world of Saa S then this could be a great opportunity for you to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a brilliant, driven and fun team of Account Executives, as well as our Solution Consultant.
  • Deliver on a net new ARR number on a monthly & quarterly basis.
  • Work very closely with Partners & Marketing to ensure we add the right fit ICP clients into our customer base.
  • Look for growth opportunities and supporting strategies encompassing new markets and go-to-market for new products.
  • Work very closely with the Client Team Leaders to ensure our Clients successfully expand & renew.
  • Carry a personal quota on a small portfolio of named strategic accounts, generating your own pipeline and running those deals from first meeting to close.
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of the Mention Me platform, so you can lead discovery, demo the product and handle technical questions without a Solution Consultant in every call.
  • Set the standard for the team through your own deals, with the qualification, deal hygiene and forecast accuracy you expect from the Account Executives.
  • Feed what you learn in your own conversations back into Product and Marketing, so positioning and roadmap reflect what buyers are asking for.

We’d love to hear from you if

  • You’ve successfully managed a team of Account Executives to consistently hit ARR targets.
  • You’ve got a coaching-led mindset.
  • You’ve got a proven track record of taking a new product offering to market and managing that change through the team.
  • You’ve got a demonstrable history of harnessing new and innovative approaches mixing strategic thinking and hustle.
  • You’ve got experience selling within Small, Mid Market & Enterprise businesses
  • You can demonstrate effective management of a predictable forecast along with the required data reporting and analysis skills to identify both positive and negative trends.
  • You’ve personally carried and hit a new business quota at a senior level, and want to keep selling alongside leading a team.
  • You can demonstrate the ability to learn a product in depth and sell it credibly to marketing, ecommerce and technical stakeholders.
  • You have experience in harnessing LLMs to drive growth beyond the historic remit of incremental hiring.

It’s also important to note that Mar Tech experience, whilst highly desirable due to the nature of the role and the need for good product knowledge, isn’t essential and we will consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds.

  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • 25 days annual leave (plus public holidays), increasing over your time as a Mentioneer.
