The Job Role Details
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the aftersales department for a Workshop Engineer. We are looking for a skilled Engineer, Technician, Fitter or Mechanic to work in a high paced, customer focussed workshop. The prime responsibilities for this role are the maintenance and repair of specialist heavy vehicles and equipment. You will demonstrate exceptional team skills, a degree of flexibility and the ability to learn complex machine systems.
Key Responsibilities
Be responsible for field and workshop maintenance and repairs of specialist heavy machinery (vehicles).
Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Service, repair and maintain a variety of specialist heavy vehicle machinery, such as plant equipment, forestry, agricultural or construction machinery.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications
Proven or time-served experience working as an Engineer / Mechanic / Technician / Fitter - on heavy goods machinery and vehicles such as plant equipment, forestry, agricultural or construction machinery.
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
Full UK driving license.
Knowledge of IT systems.
Excellent time keeping skills.
