The Job Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven UK Sales Manager to lead the sales of high-quality Crop Protection products across the UK. This is a self-employed position ideally suited to someone based in the East of England, though the role will require travel throughout the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding market share within the agricultural sector.

Location: East England

Salary Package: 40,000- 45,000 per annum (self-employed) + expenses

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across the UK.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new customers, distributors, and partners in the agricultural and horticultural sectors.
  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide product knowledge and support to customers.
  • Attend industry events to promote products and services.
  • Report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Candidate Skills and Experience:

  • Proven sales experience within the agrochemicals business.
  • A strong network of contacts in the agribusiness sectors.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Product knowledge with excellent customer service.
  • Confident with attending industry events to network and promote products and services.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
  • Based in the East of England (preferred for logistical reasons).
