The Job Role Details:
As the Agricultural Machinery Operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all agricultural tasks. This is a varied role that will require you to work with a range of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractors, sprayers, cultivators and harvest machinery for fieldwork, including ploughing, planting, spraying, and harvesting.
- Maintaining accurate records for compliance and audit readiness.
- Operate and maintain associated farm machinery.
- Assist with groundwork, weeding, and general fieldwork as required.
- Support additional operations during peak times, including harvesting and yard work.
- Assist with the movement and transportation of materials, fresh produce, and equipment around the farm.
- Carry out general farm duties such as hedge cutting, rolling, and fertilising.
- Work alongside farm managers and other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day farm operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in the agricultural, farming or fresh produce sectors.
- Experience operating / driving farm machinery.
- A full UK driving license to get to the site, as the farm is remote.
