About The Company:

The Job Role Details:

We are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a \"can-do\" attitude to join our progressive farming system as Farm Machinery Arable Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Farm Machinery / Arable Operator you will carry out a variety of tasks to deliver high-quality service to customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Tractor Operations:

  • Operating Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors and attached implements for agricultural tasks such as primary and secondary cultivations.

  • Spraying and fertiliser applications with a trailed Horch Leeb.

  • Relief combining using Claas Lexion 7600.

  • Potato planting and harvesting with Grimme and Standen machinery.

  • Conducting pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on tractors and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Working with the arable team to plan and execute field operations effectively.

General Farm Work:

  • Undertaking tasks such as trailer work, irrigation, excavator, and loader work.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Proven experience as a tractor driver.

  • Cultivation and spraying experience.

  • PA1, PA2, PA4S&G certifications.

  • Telehandler ticket.

  • Familiarity with GPS-guided machinery and precision farming technologies.

  • Flexible to assist with tasks like irrigation, drainage and more.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, especially during peak seasons.

  • Valid Driving Licence.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
