The Job Role Details:
We are looking for a dedicated Dairy Engineer to join our team, covering installations of market leading automated milking and feeding systems across the South of England. Whilst most work is within 1.5 hours of our mid Devon base there is occasional working away for short periods of time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain dairy equipment and milking systems to ensure optimal performance on farm.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide practical solutions to minimise downtime for farmers.
- Deliver excellent customer service by supporting farmers with training, advice, and aftercare on equipment use.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of the agricultural, farming or dairy industry.
- A strong background in electrical installation or engineering.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A hardworking and proactive attitude.
