Your role
You will support the Head of the Service Centre with the day‑to‑day financial management of the Farming Connect programme, a high‑profile Welsh Government‑funded initiative. Your role will involve processing invoices, supporting claims preparation, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Welsh Government requirements. You will also manage administrative processes such as maintaining order number systems, updating financial data, and working to tight deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
Your team
You will work closely with the Head of the Service Centre, the Finance Department, and colleagues across the Farming Connect team. You will also liaise with subcontractors and external customers, ensuring that all required evidence and documentation are submitted correctly and on time. Collaboration and strong communication will be key, as you will support both internal teams and external stakeholders while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Your work will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operation and compliance of the Farming Connect programme. By maintaining accurate records, processing payments efficiently, and ensuring adherence to Welsh Government and data protection requirements, you will help safeguard funding and support effective programme delivery.
