Crisis Recovery Worker
Hours: 25 hours a week
Salary: £24,960 per annum, with progression to £27,560 per annum PRO-RATA
Location: Kestrel House, Knightrider Street, Maidstone, ME15 6LU

We are looking for a Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team and provide this life-saving support for people in our communities. We have a permanent opportunity in our Maidstone Safe Haven, which is 5 hours a day from 6pm – 11pm, 365 days a year service to support people in crisis.
About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Recovery Worker to join our Maidstone Safe Haven team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in crisis, helping to assess their needs, provide emotional guidance, and promote mental health and wellbeing. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with clients experiencing mental health challenges, contributing to a supportive team, and working in partnership with local agencies and external networks.
About you
You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people. You will have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills. This will include one to one engagement and facilitating group-based activities, sign posting and engaging people in mainstream provision.
You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs including mental health, learning, physical and substance misuse would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required for the role.
It is essential that you hold a Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 and be willing to develop further as the role requires.
