We have an amazing opportunity for a Team Manager to join our dynamic team at Durham & Darlington Talking Therapies. The post holder will work within the service Senior Leadership Team to support the delivery of talking therapies for anxiety and depression in the Durham and Darlington locality. They will lead a team, working closely with senior clinicians to ensure high quality patient care.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Band 7

Location: TBC, Durham and Darlington Area

Main duties of the job:

  • Manage the team, including all HR processes and planning capacity and demand.
  • Support the service manager and clinical lead to achieve KPIs for wait times and patient outcomes.
  • Work collectively as part of the Local Leadership Team.
  • Work as part of the operational management team under the service manager.
  • Ensure the performance management of the team through leading leadership supervisions and appraisals.
  • Be familiar with policies and procedures relating to staff management – e.g., attendance, performance management, etc.
  • Build relationships with other teams and organisations to ensure seamless flow of patient care.
  • Ensure administration processes are in place to support the work of the team.
