The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Financial Reporting Analyst to support the Finance team based at our London office.
Deadline: 5pm on Monday 31st March
Location: Hybrid working remotely & at the London office (197 Long Lane, London, SE1 4PD)
Salary: £31,350 (plus £3,285 London Weighting) pro rata
Hours: Full-time OR Part-time / 32 OR 26 hours per week (as part of our 32-hour week pilot and may revert to 35/28 hours after July 2025)
Contract type: This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, with possibility of extension.
This exciting role will help ensure that the Senior Finance Business Partner and associated restricted grant budget holders have up-to-date financial information they need so they can easily and effectively manage their restricted budgets. Additionally, the role will assist in ensuring the financial reporting systems, especially Excel files, are as streamlined as possible.
What does the role involve?
- To help facilitate the effective review of actual spend and reforecasting on all restricted budgets.
- Ensure the monitoring budget templates for all projects are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
- Be responsible for the smooth allocation of monthly payroll costs for restricted grants.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of budgeting and financial models.
- Sound practical knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with good finance systems and general spreadsheet skills.
