About the Role

This is a brilliantly varied, hands‑on role — no two days look quite the same.

You'll be the friendly face that greets everyone who walks through our door, the go-to person keeping our unstaffed business unit sites running smoothly behind the scenes, and a key part of the team helping our workshops, funders and delivery partners come together.

If you like variety, enjoy talking to people, and don't mind wearing a few different hats in one day, you'll feel right at home.

The role is a full time role based at our @inc Bury St Edmunds office, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the welcoming, friendly face for all our visitors and members — first impressions matter, and you'll be ours.
  • Show prospective and new members around and get them excited about joining us.
  • Open up and close down site each day, giving everything a once-over.
  • Manage bookings through our booking app, handling enquiries by email and phone.
  • Handle invoicing relating to site bookings.
  • Keep an eye on stock so we never run out of the essentials.
  • Property Administration
  • Remotely handle enquiries for our unstaffed business unit sites.
  • Liaise with staff diaries to arrange viewings.
  • Prepare application forms and tenancy agreement documents.
  • Keep our CRM system up to date and accurate.
  • Handle enquiries, pointing people towards the support available and making sure they feel looked after.
  • Manage diary scheduling, including one-to-one meetings.
  • Liaise with funders and delivery partners.
  • Liaise with our delivery team and partner organisations.
  • Schedule workshops, coordinating with Eventbrite and the wider team.
  • Follow up after workshops and one-to-one meetings, with emails and calls to clients.
  • Assist with some of our event delivery on the day – this will require flexibility to work slightly adapted hours when necessary.

You'll Fit Right In If...

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You're confident, friendly and genuinely enjoy chatting to people.
  • You communicate well, whether it's a quick call or a written email.
  • You're comfortable picking up new systems — CRMs and booking apps.
  • You can work independently, use your initiative.
  • You're proactive, flexible, and pay attention to the details that matter.
  • You like being part of an easy going and supportive team.
  • Confidence or willingness to learn using social media on an adhoc basis.
