We are looking for an Inbound Transport and Customs Coordinator to join our growing logistics team, to support with logistics, customs and transport.

What you can expect:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery flow of goods and materials into the company's facilities.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to schedule and coordinate deliveries in a timely manner and according to regulations and standards.
  • Track inbound shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to inbound shipments, such as bills of lading, Customs documentation, and delivery receipts.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to effectively address claims and compliance matters within transportation, logistics and Customs.
  • Support in creating framework agreements with logistics and transport service providers.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of logistics processes related to imports, including knowledge of transportation modes, incoterms and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, Customs brokers, freight forwarders, and Customs authorities to ensure smooth Customs clearances, communicating effectively to resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the process.
  • Preparation of Standard Import Documents.

Your profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in international transport logistics, or a related field.
  • Proficient use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and if possible, experience in working with SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Structured and solution-oriented work approach, strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear communication and negotiation skills when dealing with transport service providers, warehouse, other 3PL.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and a customer-service oriented mindset.
  • Successfully completed studies or a comparable education, preferably with a focus on transportation/logistics.
  • Good knowledge of customs processes, particularly in the areas of import and customs procedures.
