Our client is a global energy trading firm seeking to expand their Market Risk team.

They trade in Power, LNG and Coal across Europe, APAC and North America. They are expanding their Market Risk Team due to the volume of trades and have expanded some of their traded product lines. They have a great culture with fantastic work-life balance, being in the office 3 days per week and working from home 2 days per week. They offer competitive pay and have a history of consistent profitability which is shared across their bonuses. Job Description

  • Managing the daily PnL for traders across all products
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly market risk reports
  • VaR calculations
  • Options and stress testing
  • Support with the digitalisation and automation of workflows in the team with the support of the Tech and Quant team

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 to 10 years' experience in a Market Risk trading environment
  • A background in middle office supporting front office trading activities
  • Good knowledge of both paper and physical trading
  • Proficient in Power BI, Python and VBA
