We\’re looking for high energy and ambitious individuals to join our customer-facing teams. You will be the tip of the spear for our technical engagement and will be an ambassador for our company, people, and technology.
About the Role:
We are hiring a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. If you\’re excited to be part of a winning team, Obsidian Security is a great place to make an impact. A Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process and mentoring and building the team. She/he works with the sales team to technically advise on the sales of Obsidian solutions and is a subject matter expert on SaaS security challenges and solutions. It is a sales engineers responsibility to partner with prospects in a technical and educational capacity throughout the sales cycle and be the advocate for the customer back to product management and engineering. She/he will work closely with the leadership team to build out the rest of the extended team in the respective regions. The ideal candidate is aggressive, collaborative, and knowledgeable, has worked in an offensive or defensive cybersecurity role, and has strong software engineering abilities.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining Obsidian solutions to prospective
and existing customers. - Partner internally and externally to assess security needs and to determine requirements and alignment of Obsidian solutions to prospect pain points.
- Conduct solution proof-of-value engagements to obtain technical wins.
- Conduct field reconnaissance to provide feedback and insights to product management and engineering.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
