We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Prescribing Paramedic to support within an acute care hub at a well-established practice in the Yeovil area. The practice is ideally looking for a clinician who can start asap to support with acute care presentations over the Winter period.
You will have experience as a Paramedic working within a Primary care setting and will be confident in working autonomously, prescribing and clinical decision making. Full support from a Duty GP for any clinical queries and escalations will be available.
- Salary: £45- £50 per hour
- Location: Yeovil
- The surgery: Acute care hub located in a well-established practice in Yeovil
- Patients: 14,500 patients
- CQC: Good practice
- Building: Modern, purpose-built building
- Team: Multi-disciplinary team

Your role: Locum Prescribing Paramedic
- Ideally FT 5 days per week – but can consider partial cover
- 9am – 6pm
- Supporting acute care hub
- Home visits could be required
- Duty GP on hand to support with clinical queries or escalations
- Primary Care experience: Essential
- Independent Prescribing: Essential
- You must be qualified for this role and be registered with the HCPC
