Background –

Here we have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to be part of a wonderful GP practice in the Horsham area. The practice is seeking a Practice Nurse with experience dealing with long-term conditions, baby immunisations, smears and other traditional Practice Nurse duties. This is a role where you will be expected to work autonomously but will have support from staff around you as and when you need it.

This practice is very supportive of progression and development opportunities. You would work alongside a long-standing team of clinicians, including GPs, nurses and roles such as social prescribers, HCAs and more! Ample career opportunities are available at this practice as they form the springboard for growth and learning.

Salary – Β£39,000 – Β£44,850 per annum + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + BH

Location – Horsham

Your role –

  • Part-time requirement – 24 hours per week
  • Dealing with long-term conditions by phone and in-person
  • Traditional Practice Nurse duties – smears, wound care, immunisations, etc.
  • Challenging but highly enjoyable position for the right person
  • Dedicated appointment lengths depending on what the ailment is
  • Progress and develop within your position as a Practice Nurse
  • Primary Care experience required
