Background A well-established GP Training Practice in Birkenhead, rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, is seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Care Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. This practice is proud to serve a patient population of approximately 9,000, offering high-quality healthcare with a strong focus on training and development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the practice’s administrative operations. About the Role: This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience in primary care administration, particularly with EMIS Web clinical systems. Working as part of a strong and dedicated administrative team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for key tasks such as: Managing day-to-day administrative duties, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with practice policies. Data entry and patient record management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Supporting clinical and non-clinical teams with administrative needs, including scheduling and correspondence. Assisting with reporting tasks such as QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) and other NHS reporting requirements. The practice offers full-time and part-time working options, making it a flexible opportunity to suit different working preferences.
