We are working in partnership with a PCN in the North Somerset area who are seeking a Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join their team for an initial period of 2–3 months, with the role offered on a full-time basis (five days per week).
The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Clinical Pharmacist within a primary care setting and be confident using EMIS. An Independent Prescribing qualification is essential.
The role will be primarily based at their Clinical hub within one of the PCN\'s practices along the North Somerset coast. A driving licence would be advantageous, as occasional travel to other practices within the network may be required.
Salary – £35 per hour

The PCN
- 5 practices with around 50,000 patients list size
- Well-established Pharmacy service
- Experienced multi-disciplinary team of Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians led by Lead Clinical Pharmacist and Clinical Director
Your role –
- Locum PCN Clinical Pharmacist
- 5 days per week
- 2 – 3 months initially
- Start date asap, dependent on compliance
- EMIS practices
- Work across practices within the PCN and travel between sites where required
- Undertake SMRS and Polypharmacy
- Support enhanced health in Care Homes
- Experience with long-term conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes and respiratory disease would be desirable
- Independent Prescriber essential
- Prescribe safely and appropriately
- Primary Care experience essential
- You must be qualified as a Clinical Pharmacist and be registered with the GPhC
