Locum GP

Background This is a great opportunity for a Locum GP to join a highly respected GP practice for the next nine months to cover maternity leave. The practice is looking for a degree of continuity with two days per week required – Tuesdays are essential then either Thursday or Friday in addition. There is flexibility around start and finish times and a reasonable workload of two four hour sessions working to 14 patients per session (8 face to face – 15 mins and 6 telephone – 10 mins) with admin built into the morning and afternoon sessions. Home visits are unlikely as the practice has a Paramedic team that picks up the majority, shared admin is not essential. There may be some expectation for duty work once settled in the role (paid at a higher rate).
