Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum ANP to support a well established, forward thinking, supportive team. The role is to start in January for 3 to 5 months and they are looking for two to three days a week. Ideally they are looking for support on a Monday, Thursday and Friday but can be flexible on the days.
You should have previous experience working in Primary Care, be an independent prescriber and have experience using SystmOne. You should be confident in working autonomously, prescribing and clinical decision making. Full support from a Duty GP for any clinical queries and escalations will be available.
Salary – £43- £48 per hour
Location – Shaftsbury, Dorset

- Multi-disciplinary team including ANPs, multiskilled nurses, pharmacy, wellbeing team, mental health nurse

- 15 minute appointments

Your role –
- Locum ANP
- 2 to 3 days a week – ideally Monday, Thursday, Friday but can be flexible on day
- Home visits not required
- Prescribe independently within the scope of professional practice, ensuring safe and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate, detailed and contemporaneous clinical records that document assessment, decision making and interventions.
- Primary Care experience is essential
- Independent Prescribing is essential
- You must be qualified for this role and be registered with the NMC
