We have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum Prescribing Paramedic to support within an acute care hub at a well-established practice in the Yeovil area. The practice is ideally looking for a clinician who can start ASAP to support with acute care presentations over the Winter period.
You will have experience as a Paramedic working within a Primary care setting and will be confident in working autonomously, prescribing and clinical decision making. Full support from a Duty GP for any clinical queries and escalations will be available.
Salary: Β£45-Β£50 per hour
Location: Yeovil
The surgery: Acute care hub located in a well-established practice in Yeovil with 14,500 patients, CQC Good practice, modern purpose-built building, and a multi-disciplinary team using EMIS.
Your role:
- Ideally FT 5 days per week β but can consider partial cover
- 9am β 6pm
- Supporting acute care hub
- Home visits could be required
- Duty GP on hand to support with clinical queries or escalations
- Primary Care experience - Essential
- Independent Prescribing β Essential
- You must be qualified for this role and be registered with the HCPC
