Background

This is a role for an experienced Independent Prescriber who wants genuine clinical autonomy from day one. The practice has embedded clinical pharmacists in its team for many years and runs a deliberately flat culture, where pharmacist clinical judgement carries real weight. It is in an active growth phase, investing in clinical and non-clinical roles together, and the clinical lead reviews every CV within 24 hours.

Location

The practice is based in Slough, Berkshire, with excellent road and rail links. Windsor is around 15 minutes’ drive, Maidenhead around 20 minutes and Reading around 35 minutes, while the M4, M25 and fast rail services into London Paddington are all close by.

The Practice

Large practice serving a diverse population, offering real breadth of clinical and cultural experience. Long-established clinical pharmacist model, with pharmacy leadership from an experienced senior clinical pharmacist. Flat, non-hierarchical culture where no professional group sits above the rest of the team. Large partnership team and large salaried GP team.
