Veterinary Surgeon – Shape a Growing Practice
4-day week | No OOH | Fear Free culture | Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 DOE
We're proud to be working with a growing independent veterinary group seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their modern Sheffield practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident GP vet looking to join a people-first organisation where employee wellbeing, clinical standards and career development are genuinely prioritised. The practice is at an exciting stage of growth, offering the chance to help shape its future while benefiting from the support of a wider independent group.
Responsibilities
- 4-day week (40 hours)
- 08:30–19:00 with a Saturday rota
- No OOH
- 15-minute consultations
- Dedicated admin and case work-up time
- Protected surgery time
- Occasional sole charge
- Collaborative team environment with a focus on high clinical standards
The Practice
- Modern, purpose-built facility
- 4 consult rooms
- 2 theatres
- Dedicated dental suite
- Dental X-ray
- Clarius ultrasound
- Extensive in-house laboratory
- Separate dog, cat and exotics wards
- Visiting surgeon and ultrasonographer support
You'll be joining a supportive team including an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, 2 RVNs and 2 Client Care Coordinators.
