Position Overview: This is an opportunity to work for an extremely organised and proactive practice. The surgery is a mid‐sized, friendly teaching practice in the Wimbledon area, offering a modern approach to a defined on‐call system.

Practice features:

  • Mixed patient demographic
  • Varied MDT including prescribing pharmacists
  • Minimal admin
  • High QOF achievement
  • EMIS Web clinical system

Role: Salaried GP post, 4 or 5 sessions available; Friday is required. Sessions consist of a mix of 10‐minute and 15‐minute appointments, with a maximum of 16 patients per session; minimal home visits are performed; a modern on‐call system is in place; there is opportunity to work additional hub sessions. The role offers a chance to take on a lead position, support projects and audit activities, develop special interests and build a portfolio career.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality GP care through scheduled appointments and on‐call duties.
  • Participate in and support practice improvement projects and audit activities.
  • Develop and maintain special interests and a portfolio career within the practice.

Qualifications: Qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.

Benefits:

  • Salary – £11,500 per session per annum.
  • Annual leave – 6 weeks.
  • Study leave – 1 week.
  • NHS pension scheme.
