Background – An outstanding opportunity for you to join one of the most forward-thinking practices in the region as a Salaried GP, set in an conveniently located residential area on the outskirts of Bristol. The practice has made excellent progress in the last few years and is in a fantastic position with its property, its position to work as a PCN and financially, despite these ever more difficult times. They are renowned for their organisation, structure and the support and protection offered to its GPs, with a better-than-BMA-recommended workload of just 24 patients per day, 2 of which are for you to book only. We have recruited a number of GPs for the practice over the years receiving outstanding feedback in the process. Please note that due room availability, this role is being recruited with a start date of May/June 2025 at the earliest. Salary – £11,500 – £13,000 per session Location – North Bristol – close to M5/M4 junction You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list. The surgery – GP Training & Research Practice Very modern, bright and airy premises Geared towards reducing GP workload Clinical support team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacist, Community Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse Administrative support team of highly-trained Read Coders – outstanding workflow processes Fantastic sign-posting ensuring GPs only seeing relevant patients Superb IT structure and support – highly organised practice Heavily encourage specialist interests to provide variety EMIS Web Your role – Salaried GP or Associate GP (Salaried role with enhanced responsibilities and higher salary) 5 or more sessions per week Fantastic workload 11 patients per session plus 1 follow-up 15-minute appointments Whole team coffee break every morning and team lunch daily Limited on-call – one day every 2-4 weeks and mostly in a support capacity An average of just 1.7 documents per session – superbly efficient processes Virtually no home visits You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List The benefits – Full two-week induction – no clinics until week 3 Personal CPD fund Progression based on merit, not time served Indemnity fees paid 6 weeks’ annual leave 1 week study leave NHS pension Next Steps For further details on this exceptional role, please click the  Apply Now  button.
