Background – Are you looking to join a respected GP Training Practice that adheres to BMA-recommended workloads? Do you want to join a practice that embraces technology and tries to streamline your day as much as possible? Salary – c£12,000 per session plus paid CPD Location – East Hull area You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list. The surgery – Large GP Training Practice with numerous Trainers – also host medical students and nursing students Varied demographic offering a little bit of everything Geared towards reducing GP workload One GP Assistant for each small team of GPs – do a lot of the task and patient contact work that can build up for a GP Engaging with pioneering technology platforms Pre-triage of all consultations to ensure they’re appropriate for GPs Partner-owned premises Coffee break every morning as well as regular other meetings including a quarterly Salaried GP meeting Special interests encouraged – can evidence supporting other GPs SystmOne Your role – Salaried GP or GP with a view to Partnership 4 or more sessions – full-time available Fantastic workload 12 patients per session 15-minute appointments 4 of your 24 appointments are follow-ups for you to book only What very few visits there are will take the place of 2-3 appointments, not be in addition to Only 1-2 Duty days per month (a full-time GP would do a Duty Day every 10 or so days) No weekend working The benefits – BMA contract Paid CPD (1 hour per day worked per week) unless working full-time in which you’ll work 7 clinical sessions with 1 CPD session 6 weeks’ annual leave NHS pension Next Steps For further details on this exceptional role, please click the Apply Now button.
