A genuinely manageable, well-structured GP workload. A highly regarded GP Training Practice just north of Plymouth is seeking a Salaried GP to join a stable, experienced team. This is a rare opportunity offering an exceptional sessional rate, hybrid working, and a well-supported, structured day with minimal home visiting and no traditional duty doctor model.
Salary & Benefits
- £12,800–£13,350 per session + indemnity paid

- 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave
Workload & Structure
- 4–6 sessions per day
- Less than 5 hours of clinical time per day
- 15‑minute appointments
- Mix of face‑to‑face, calls and e‑consults
- Extensive protected admin / task slots built into the day
- No traditional duty doctor model
- Acute Hub system in place
- First patient not until 09:30 when covering
- Minimal home visits covered daily by Paramedic / ANP team
- Excellent continuity of care with your own patient list
Support, Training & Development
- Extensive MDT support including ANPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner, First Contact Physio, Social Prescriber, Specialist Nurses (Diabetes, Cancer Care, Women’s Health, CDM)
- Encouragement of special interests

Qualifications & Experience
Must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performance List.
